Measure I-24 has no sunset clause. This was done so that the City has an option at a later date to issue a bond against the sales tax revenue. This is a bad idea. Voters should have been able to vote on a measure that had no ambiguities, not contingencies and was completely spelled out. This is a very poor incremental approach to writing legislation and a sneaky attempt to fool voters. We find this very deceptive.
